Mr. Omar Fatih presented his research design on salt tolerance in maize and sorghum cultivars. The second planting will begin on June 2 with an improved experimental design, including increased replications and larger plot sizes. Soybean and peanut experiments will employ furrow irrigation instead of sprinklers to mitigate heat stress concerns. All experiments are proceeding on schedule this season without delay.
