The situation was assessed through visits to Atef’s farmland in Mushia and Gibril’s farmland in Rashda.
Mushia: Maize was being harvested in stages in the field equipped with sprinklers, while the field designated for traditional irrigation was not utilized for summer cultivation.
Rashda: The issue with the soil moisture sensor readings was rectified. Furthermore, protective covers were attached to two flow meters at the water intake section to safeguard the equipment from damage by cattle and other livestock.
