Digital Platform Meeting (Aug 17)

An online meeting was held with the participation of both the Egyptian and Japanese teams.

Mr. Youssef Zienhoum demonstrated the current functionality, including photo reporting, an AI vision model for problem diagnosis, and offline data storage capabilities.

The team discussed several technical challenges, such as the need for OTP service registration, language translation requirements, and data collection from field sensors. Dr. Marwa Sayed explained that implementing the speech-to-text model would take approximately two months and emphasized the need for additional field images to train the computer vision model.

Plans were also discussed for installing the application on field devices and collecting soil humidity data from sensors, with Dr. Shuichiro Yoshida providing guidance on data format requirements. Server access was confirmed as available for system installation, and the team agreed to schedule a follow-up meeting after technical testing and server access implementation.
