Digital Platform Group Meeting

  • Understanding farmers’ needs is essential for developing the application.
  • The group aims to design support strategies for farmers that align with the three-year project schedule.
  • A major challenge is determining how to share hydrology and agriculture group data with local farmers via the digital platform.
  • At minimum, fixed-point observations from the two experimental farms (NVU and Dakhla) will be compiled for dissemination.

Japanese researchers Dr.. Erina Iwasaki, Mr. Shuyo Nodasaka, and Dr. Naoko Fukami participated onsite at NARSS.
Nodasaka also visited Cairo from February 10 to 12 to discuss app development with young NARSS researchers.
