Japanese researchers assisted with maintenance at experimental farmland contracted in Mushia (Atef’s farmland) and Rashda (Gibril’s farmland).
May 7–10 – Mushia: Sprinkler system installed. Despite rupture of an old shallow well pipe, irrigation was successfully confirmed.
May 11 – Rashda: Soil moisture sensors installed under Dr. Masaru Mizoguchi’s supervision. Agreement reached to provide regular sensor data reports.
