Oasis Agriculture Meeting: Summer Cropping

  1. Plantation was carried out from March 16 to 21 for corn (four varieties) and sorghum (five varieties).
  2. The crops are divided into 54 plots across saline and non-saline soils, with furrow irrigation applied.
  3. Photographs will be taken of each plot every week from the same location and in the same direction.
  4. Water samples will be collected for water quantity and quality analysis, and soil samples will be collected for soil salinity analysis, on a weekly or biweekly basis.
  5. Photographs of the water meters will be taken weekly to measure the amount of water consumed.
