- Cultivation Schedule (Summer 2026):
- Two cycles:
(1) Mid-March to July
(2) Mid-July to November- Crops:
- Four varieties of sorghum
- Four types of maize
- Experimental Fields:
- Normal soil: 1.5 dS/m
- Light salinity soil: 4–40 dS/m
- Light salinity plots will use flood irrigation.
Comments by Dr. Xu Donghe:
- If possible, include additional crop varieties to study which ones are best suited to the New Valley environment.
Consider experimenting with quinoa seeds.
